Big boy and his baby sister!

A lot has happened since my last post. Tucker turned TWO! Where have the past two years gone? I don't know if it's pregnancy hormones or what, but it makes me want to cry thinking that he is growing up so quickly.
Now that Tucker's Two:
-He's in the 30th percentile in height and the 50th in weight.
-He talks ALL the time and never forgets anything!
-He loves any sports and would prefer to watch sports over cartoons.
-He loves to eat! His favorite foods are spaghetti, anything that you can dip, fruit snacks, and most of all "cheeseburbers". He's not a picky eater at all!
-He recently moved into the big bedroom and got a new big boy baseball bed from Nan and Pa for his birthday.
-He is a morning person usually waking around 6:45.
-He has many friends but loves his buddy Hudson (Hutton) and his cousin Sambo the most!

We celebrated in grand fashion with a birthday party held at our church. I'll post about it in a separate post.

For his actual birthday, we traveled to Tulsa for the evening. We went and played games (got ripped) off at Chucke Cheese's before heading to Ted's for supper. The waiters and waitresses sang to Tucker, but he wasn't a big fan of it.

Last Thursday, we made the trek to Pryor to let Matt's friend from school do an ultrasound to find that we are having a baby girl! Tucker has been telling us this whole pregnancy that he is having a baby "sista" and that he's naming her Tucker Eidson...well one of his wishes is coming true!

Deer

We live smack in the middle of "Deer Hunting Paradise". I think my husband is the only man in the county without a hunting license. I even know that bow season starts today! I bet neither of my sisters knows that!

Tuesday, we traveled to Ada for my OB check-up. The baby is still growing and doing great. After eating some beans and cornbread with my parents, we started the boring drive home. Since Tucker had spent the afternoon at Pa's office, he hadn't napped. He didn't even make it to the highway before he was OUT!

I was enjoying my peaceful, quiet ride home when out of nowhere a deer slams into my car bouncing off and slamming into my driver's side door. I screamed and pulled over on the shoulder where my shaking hands called Matt and my parents. I looked back to check on Tucker to find that he had slept through the whole ordeal! Then much to my disbelief, I saw the deer trot off the road. Tough animal!

I was almost to Atwood, OK so I continued on into town to look for a safe place to park until my parents and Matt could get to us. My choices were a gas station that was closed or the post office. I chose the post office where Tuck continued to snooze until my parents arrived.

So we're down to one vehicle while my car gets fixed. It had some damage of the front end and to the driver's side door. Thankfully, we're all safe and sound and driving around in daddy's Titan. I dare a deer to run out if front of me in that beast!

Tattletale

Tucker's latest milestone...tattling! It's about to make me crazy. As a teacher, tattling was always one of my biggest pet peaves. I implemented a "5 B" rule in my class. My students could only tattle if it was blood, barf, bathroom, bad guy, or bad word. Now my soon-to-be 2-year-old has become a major tattler.

Today we met our friends Danna and Hudson at McDonalds for a lunch/play date. After the boys went NUTS over the sports decorations, we moved our party to the playplace. We endured much screaming of "Touchdown Sooners", "Down, Set, Hut", etc. In the playplace, my son spent the majority of his time tattling on his friend. He came to tell Danna that Hudson (who was standing 5 feet away) hit him on the cheek. I told him that Hudson did not hit him, so off he went. Then when getting told not to open the door, he blamed it on Hudson who was on the other side of the room. We're a little young for the 5 B's so I may just have to hang a big ear on the wall for him to tattle to similar to my daycare employment days!
